The vibraphone is part of our Elastik series and delivers that classic “vibra” sound in all its beautiful glory. The extensive collection of phrases was played on what many consider the pinnacle of the vibraphone world: the mighty Ludwig-Musser vibraphone.
Captures beautiful sound in every detail
The library contains around 380 individual vibraphone performances in 1.1 GB of sample data. The loops are grouped into 37 folders, each containing several phrases at a specific tempo and key combination. The original tempos range from 60 to 90 bpm, making the performances ideal for downtempo jazz, Latin, bossa, chill, lounge and related musical styles. However, the tempo can be easily adjusted to suit your project using Elastik’s powerful sample processing features. Phrases range from 2 to 8 bars (up to 32 seconds) in length and can be easily sequenced together as part of a full-length musical production.
An instant dose of cool vibes for any project
As always, Ueberschall’s impeccable approach to recording the instrument was applied throughout, and the result is a fabulously smooth sound. This showcases every detail of the original sound, from the beautiful chime of the bars, the vibrating ring of the resonators and down to subtle elements such as the sound of the engine. This is the real deal, without a top-notch player and a top-notch instrument in your own studio.
Ideal for Downtempo, Jazz, Lounge, LoFi and Chillout
Vibraphone is the perfect companion for the other titles with a jazz influence in our downtempo libraries. These include Downtempo Guitar 1 and 2, LoFi HipHop Beats, Tenor Saxophone or Vintage Bass. With its beautiful sound and cool performance, Vibraphone simply oozes cool jazz vibes. The perfect addition to your next downtempo jazz, lounge, lo-fi or chillout project.
The recordings for this library were played by Florian Poser. He is considered one of the most famous and interesting vibraphonists in Germany and can be heard in countless productions in the fields of jazz and Brazilian jazz, both in his own projects and as a sideman.
